State Of Brews Year 1
New for Sydney Beer Week 2026, State of Brews brings together breweries and venues from across Australia – and beyond – to showcase the incredible diversity of beer being produced around the country and around the world.
Launching on the opening night of Sydney Beer Week, participating venues will dedicate their taps to beers representing a particular state, territory or region, giving beer lovers the chance to explore what different brewing communities have to offer without leaving Sydney.
From established favourites to exciting new releases, State of Brews celebrates the creativity, collaboration and camaraderie that make independent beer so special. Brewers may choose to send existing favourites, create one-off collaborations, or brew something unique specifically for the event. In some cases, multiple breweries from the same region may come together to showcase their local scene through a shared tap lineup.
Each participating venue will determine how long they run their State of Brews offering. Some may feature their lineup for a single evening alongside other Sydney Beer Week events, while others may continue pouring throughout the week, giving consumers more opportunities to discover beers they may not otherwise encounter.
At its heart, State of Brews is about connection – connecting drinkers with breweries from around Australia and beyond, giving interstate brewers a presence in Sydney, and celebrating the communities that make great beer possible.
