Expressions of interest

Welcome to Sydney Beer Week 2026!

Are you a venue or brewery keen to get involved in Sydney Beer Week 2026? We'd love to hear from you!

Cheers to 2026: Bigger, Better, Busier

2025 was an incredible year for Sydney Beer Week—full of fresh events, exciting collaborations, and creative ideas. We loved seeing some breweries running their own events, others collaborating across regions, and everyone getting hands-on with fantastic beers from across Australia.

With the success of last year, we’re making a few tweaks for 2026 to streamline the process and set everyone up for success.

What's Changing?

1. Tighter Timelines:

We get it—our industry is time poor, and last-minute EOIs are common. That’s why this year, the expression of interest form is short and easy, capturing just the basic info so you can get your ideas in quickly. But deadlines are firm: the sooner we get EOIs, the sooner we can start marketing with partners. Last-minute events simply don’t get the same attention, so submit on time to make the most of the exposure.

2. State of Brews Returns :

We’re excited to reintroduce State of Brews. Venues can register their preferred state (we’re thinking group southern states SA/Tas and territories NT/ACT together). You MUST be prepared to tap on launch night on 16th October. Want to try a different region, or country? Let us know in your EOI. If this is your only event for the week, beers can stay on tap until they run dry; otherwise, run them alongside your other events - if your unsure, let us know.

3. Priority for Returning Events :

If a venue ran an event last year, they get first refusal to run it again this year—after all, they invested in building that event. That said, you’re welcome to submit ideas for events you loved from last year, too.

4. Experiences Over Tastings :

Pouring your own beer? That’s a tasting. We’re looking for creative, engaging, and memorable events—think events with a twist, collab dinners, live music paired with exclusive brews, or other unique experiences. With State of Brews back, there’s even less pressure to run simple tastings.

5. Marketing & Attendance  :

Consumers love free events and often spend while they’re there. We’ll never tell you exactly how to run your event—you know your venue best—but we can advise on ways to make it busier. While Sydney Beer Week supports events through our partnership program, it’s your responsibility to market your own events. Invest in your socials, websites, and your regular customer base. We’ll add the extra layer of promotion, but you bring the crowd first, and we’re the cream on top.

Why Get Involved?

Sydney Beer Week isn't just a celebration of beer; its a platform to showcase your brand, engage with consumers, and collaborate with industry peers. Plus, the buzz created by unique, well-planned events resonates long after the week is over.
